This is the continuation of Sergeant Mark IV's Brutal Heretic mod. Well, after been seemingly abandoned for a few years, we have continued Brutal Heretic where Sarge and Seidolon has left off.
Brutal Heretic is updated on the community forum named, NZDOOM.net, a place where everybody is welcome to join.

I am unable to scale any element of the hud. When I play default Heretic the weapon sprites are not stretched or I can change them using GZDoom menus. With Brutal Heretic the weapon is stretched horizontally and no option I've tried does anything. I'd also like to see your cool custom HUD additions scaled but again, nothing changes. What am I missing?

Regarding the sprites, are you allocating the Ai neural upscale? Does the issue look like any of the uploaded screenshots? For the HUD I am working on scaling with both Brutal Heretic/Hexen but requires much work indeed, hopefully get a hotfix out ASAP.
Actually it does look like the screenshots above. Why are the weapons so wide? IMO it looks much better in default Heretic/Hexen.

Looks like ever since gzdoom was updated for Heretic widescreen, the Ai upscale is bugged out, checked online and many users state the same issue so if you have an account on zdoom, ask to speak with Graf and try and get some info on why this occurs.
I have a theory but it will be a workaround and I'd rather fix this properly.
Very good mod. But I have an issue when using the ring of invulnerability. Instead of the unique gold monochrome effect I am just getting a slight brownish filter, which makes it barely noticeable in combat, how long the item's effect lasts. I am using the pak file with the newest GZDoom.

The original Heretic effect is orange and Brutal Heretic is a blue tint with less saturation, when active you can also see the icon onscreen, hope this helps.
Hosting a game through gzdoom requires port forwarding. I cannot do that. Will hamachi work with this mod? Or any other third party software?

I want to ask a question:
Is tere any way to reduce amount of blood spilled by enemies? I palying this mod from work notebook and i really like the gameplay enhancements of this mod, but gekalitres of blood from enemies, crashing my fps to negative values, completely ****** me off.

What notebook you using? I tested this on a notebook from 2009 and it plays fine, but had to reduce resolution. Also don't implement the Ai upscaled textures if you use a notebook, just allocate Brutal Heretic.
