Any recommendations for working flashlights in coop?

I noticed in BD21 the flashlight does not really work in zandronum (not in sp and not mp)

I can make other flashlights look the same when i put lightsize 0.1 in options. It's just a very tiny bright pointer.

That being said, I think flashlights in general only work with sv_cheats enabled. I can make Flashlights_BD.pk3 (don't know where i got it from or who made it) work in coop when leaving sv_cheats enabled. However it starts flickering when the second players connects (sometimes more, sometimes less, sometimes not at all)

I really want to get this working, as we are playing with random light color mod and sometimes maps are really dark. (I don't want to drop that plugin as i think zandro looks terrible with bright settings, as theres no ambient occlusion setting)

Someone more familiar with that problems?

The flashlight works perfectly fine and I have no idea of what you are talking about.
Unless you are running on software mode. It is impossible to have any flashlights on software mode.

It turned out the small pointer was caused by the other flashlight plugin. Removed it for some tests.

btw, i'm not using software mode. I always try to run at highest settings possible (which is basically just open gl + forced AA & AF for zandronum.)

Flashlight is usable but as soon as i'm changing from walk into running motion the screen flashes. (it seems to be the flashlight which can't keep up with the player speed. it looks even worse while playing with vertical sync off. kinda like white flashy bars)

As mentioned before this is a mulitplayer issue. Testing this offline/singleplayer on zandronum is not enough to replicate this bug.

What i did is starting the server and click on join within the server window, but i also tested this with just joining the server from the serverlist.
