Playing through v21 Gold with the fix, Hell on Earth starter pack. The very first demon sphere I came across worked fine. Made me a Revenant. But after that very first time, all subsequent demon spheres do nothing. It says I picked it up, and I got the teleport sound effect and all and I grin evilly, but I remain Doom Guy, and nothing changes. I read where there's a conflict with demon spheres and being invulnerable, but I have not walked over a demon sphere while being invulnerable. Strangely, this is only happening in normal play. When I go to the weapons testing map, the demon sphere works fine. So in short the problem is: It worked once in normal level play It will not work since at all after that, and this persists through save and loading Kind of a let down. |
