This is just a side project for now. I found a defunct Doom 4 weapons mod and decided to take a look into it. What I turned out to do was combine it with a newer updated brutal DooM lite I made myself ( effectively Brutal doom lite 20b) so what I did was brutalize the weapon sprites , recorded sounds from DooM alpha and stuck them in with some remastering of some of them. New sprites reflect the weapons you pick up. The mod is build to run like original doom , no reloading and only the classic weapons but has the brutal DooM gore of V20b. Lastly I got my particle system to work with it.
Video shows weapon sounds sprites , item sprites and it working with the newer Brutal doom lite v20b.

Seriously though, when is this coming out? This mod looks ******* sweet! I can't wait to run through Doom again with this! =D

This isnt just a side project, this is just another ******** containing these awful weapons and even more awful sounds. What a shame for popularizing content from this typical raw shooter!
