For those of us waiting for a proper historical Bronze Age TW game, this mod is a great way to scratch that itch.
It's understandably a bit different than vanilla, (cavalry is rare, chariots are widespread, heavy armour is rare) but no less fun.
Easily recommended to anyone wanting to get their Hammurabi on.

Best Rome Total War mod from best era of the history

Very good Job. Quiet accurate historically. I would prefer minoans to be included, however i know they were not a Sovereign entity that tine

For the most part, I enjoyed Bronze Age: Total War. It is a mostly finished, polished and stable mod, and one of the few to extensively cover the time period. I have two major issues with the mod however, that are both subjective. 1: chariots. I've never been a big fan of chariots in R:TW, and this mod is almost entirely chariot-dominated on the cavalry front, with only a limited selection of super light conventional horsemen units to choose from. This is accurate to the time period of course, but personally I've just never enjoyed chariots. As such it's best played as an infantry and foot archer-focused mod. 2: almost every city begins with large stone walls. As the majority of the battles I fought were sieges, this became rather tiresome after awhile, sieging the same stone walled settlement after stone walled settlement.

Other than those two gripes, I enjoyed the mod quite a bit, and appreciated the attention to detail in the time period. It has a nice selection of factions and is well-balanced. Many of the factions do feel very similar to each other, but again, that is accurate to the time period.

Overall, the mod is highly recommended to fans of the Bronze Age period, but if that era of history doesn't interest, particularly on the warfare front, you may not find a whole lot to engage you here.

It's quite honestly one of my favorite mods in general, and I love the regions and the time period it focuses on. The art is good, the units are good, the balance is good, and while not perfect I'll give it a ten for being the best at what it does, and for the possibility (however slight the chance of a major update happening) of growth to come. :D

There is a lot to improve, but Bronze Age rocks. Perfect idea and overall good mod.

Beautiful Mod. If I can make a note: buildings too expensive, some names of the units have not been completely translated, poor buildings list and slow campaign. Overall a very funny and original mod, given that the Bronze Age is considered by few.
