BrewLAN is a mod for Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance that has been in on and off development by a team of one for almost a decade. It adds a wide variety of new units for all factions, as well as offering several new game modes and features. The core design goals for the mod are simple; to add new, interesting, and visually aesthetic units which complement those already in existence and to maximise technical compatibility with other mods.
Based on a comment, I decided to create a new Cybran Experimental for Research and Daiquiris. It is literally the base of the Abyss Crawler, without the transport arms, with battleship weapons. It does what that sounds like that would do. It is also unnamed, so you know what that means:
NAME COMPETITION TIME!
Suggest names, and unless it looks like there is a clear winner in the comments, I'll collate them into a poll.

It somehow also based like Fatboy, my favorite unit.. just with a different turret placement..
Question thought: strength wise, it's not gonna win against fatboy, is it?
Balance is pending, but this doesn't have a factory attached to it, or a shield, and currently the Fatboy out-ranges it.
Which probably means the Fatboy wins if you're smart with it, and don't let it close the distance.
This is bigger than the Fatboy though, and probably more expensive.
But, again, balance incomplete, and as of writing this the 4 main turrets don't even have their scripts declared yet; I'm literally about to do that.
Nemesis sounds a bit Aeon-ish, but it'd be a good name.
I probably need more time to think it over but I'd call it either "Dostya's Revenge" or "ID-2".
The latter is because i've been playing too much WoT. Speaking of which; I just had an idea to put a Disruptor cannon repurposed for direct fire (and thus with much shorter range) onto this thing.
Alternatively, "Abyssal Fortress" or "Fortress Crawler".
What about secondary weapons?
One of the reasons the image is from such a low profile is because there is a huge gap in the middle of it that I thought looked bad.
There is now a Disruptor there. This is an Experimental Mobile Artillery now.
Well, my original idea was to use Disruptor as a direct-fire weapon (befitting an Experimental Siege Tank), but that's awesome too.
Will it keep battleship turrets or that'd be too cheesy?
This is going in the R&D mod and starting research locked, so I feel it gets to be more powerful.
I'll probably give it blind spots though. Like, the min range of the artillery will probably be greater than the max range of the cannons, and they won't get to keep full 360 fire now there's a Disruptor in the way.
Fair enough ^^ I'm getting excited for the R&D mod as well as 0.8.

Also about Abyssal Persecutor, since it was dropped in favor for a Crawler transport in BrewLAN, maybe good idea still finish it for R&D mod? Cybrans still don't have naval battle exp. unit.
I might revisit the idea of the Abyssal Persecutor one day. If I did though I'd start from scratch; the incomplete assets I made nearly a decade ago are not really something I'd want to continue with now.
