BrewLAN is a mod for Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance that has been in on and off development by a team of one for almost a decade. It adds a wide variety of new units for all factions, as well as offering several new game modes and features. The core design goals for the mod are simple; to add new, interesting, and visually aesthetic units which complement those already in existence and to maximise technical compatibility with other mods.
A heavily shielded Scathis, under fire from the Aeon Illuminates experimental rapid-fire artillery: the Salvation, not pictured.
what's the difference between the scathis and the scathis mark 2?
The Mk II is a static building, with a higher armour class and less health.
^thats not possible so its the same just stuck in one place? 1 apple and one pear take an apple and add pear no diffrence
Two pears isn't the same as an apple and a pear.
The benefits while shooting people with it:
For a start you can almost triple its rate of fire by surrounding it with power plants now, which you couldn't do before; and it can attack ground properly without trying to move there.
The benefits while facing against it:
While its in an explored area without radar coverage it can now be targeted properly. (Buildings have their blips remain, and units disappear in those situations, meaning that although you know where it is and although it wouldn't have moved you wouldn't have been able to bomb it in that situation.)
It being able to move is a relic of the singleplayer where it has next to no range at all and needs to move to hit anything.
I totally agree to these modifications.
