Legends of the 3rd Age (formerly: Blue Wizard Mod) adds two new playable factions, Lothlorien and Moria, to The Battle for Middle-earth(tm). These factions come with a fully functional AI. It also enhances the original factions with additions and changes the gameplay. The focus here is clearly on multiplayer. Units and structures are designed to fit in the original game's style.
And you with a holiday)
Thanks mate!
Pretty nice!
Can't wait to play this mod :D
I'm also very excited. :)
Very cool :)
Thanks, and sorry I actually hit the wrong karma button on this one and I can't undo it. Wanted to vote up. :)
Np mate :)
Wow, my first thought was "Beatiful"
Thanks, I'm also very satisfied with the result! :)
Really good, will seasons pass through out the match? or will we have to choose the winter map, spring map, summer map, etc. ?
No, I'm quite sure that it's not possible to have seasons pass throughout a match. There are a couple of snow maps (snowy versions of official maps) on which you can create the snow structures instead of the standard ones. :)
Thats good enough for me :)
I think that after everyone has done all the possible mods for this game and for the second and the witch king expansion, all modders should gather and make a super mod, the most complete mod ever. And with a lot of effort maybe the weather changing in-game could be a feature.
Well continue the good work :D Hope to see this mod released. After the elves will you do more factions?
I intend to add more factions, yes. But quality over quantity. After the first release I expect many bug reports, so I want to focus on that now.
About the idea of the "most complete mod ever": That's not going to happen. Modders usually follow their own ideas. The bigger the modding team is, the more likely it is that they start arguing about things. For a big mod, everyone would have to have the same opinion about changes, and that is usually not the case.
Besides, the weather changing thing would not be possible with 1000 modders because it is hardcoded (not changeable).
While I certainly like the BFME 2 engine a lot more than the BFME 1 engine, the BFME 1 system doesn't work properly anymore in BFME 2.. that's the main reason why I'm sticking to modding BFME 1.
Well you could do one faction at a time instead of doing lots of them at the same time. You should finish the elven faction first, like finishing all features, add whatever you want and correcting all bugs. Only after that is done you could start a new faction :) and do the whole thing again.
That's the plan. :p
when is ready this mod i want to play i very like it
It will be ready in a few days :)
