These lens light effects look very cheap and bad XD
Looks like they were edited in afterwards, you should definitly lower their resolution and the retina reflex. Its very very bad.
Looks very nice . One advice - maybe it would be good to keep the old body burning effect sprites after flare hits the body . Potentially , making it as last stage ( with current burning effect just before it ) .
Or , reworking the effect to be similar to it . Also , isnt the sound of flare gun not correct ? Sounds like Magnum .357 .
