Bleach:Zanpakutou Senshi is a totally free Total Conversion of Half-Life 1. It´s based on the japanese hit Anime Bleach.
Sometimes coding errors are too fun to miss out on.
At the last video ConejoChombi suggested that the animations should be faster.
To simplify the process of updating the delay time for the attack, (so it is synchronized with the animation) I made a simple function, but forgot that dividing an int with an int also results in an int (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7571326/why-cant-i-return-a-double-from-two-ints-being-divided).
Furthermore I finished the punch effect sprite. I used TE_Explosion without any side effects to make it show up correctly.
The test dummy is based on the player class, so I will be able to test attacks and animations by using that. I'm still working on enforcing physic calculations on the object.
I must say it does keep things true to the anime ;)
Add Ichigo as the punching bag, put in a city map (I will have to make one :P ) and we have a reenactment of one of my most remembered scenes with Grimmjow.
I like the added effect on some of the punches a very nice touch.
But you must admit that machine gun punching (like hyper freeman with crowbar), would make the gameplay rather trivial :)
Lol on that last part he was doing a hammer time with his hips :D
love it !
lol
if you divide by float it should work
(1.0f / fps) * target
Yes, it was just a small mistake that was quickly fixed after the recordings.
