What has happened?
It has been quite a while.. To start with, I would like to present you all my apologies for the past months. I've been very busy with my personal life and other stuff. Leaving me with little time to focus on the continuation of Bellum Imperii's development. This was also the reason why I joined in with another Roman mod. Who's developer picked up the coding of BI in my absence. While at first, that all seemed to work out well with a fast-phase progress towards 1.5 but since February our coder (Godarcher) disappeared with unknown reasons. Leaving us with nothing else then a list of unfixed bugs..
What are we doing right now?
Currently I (Gokiller) am working on getting all our resources transferred to a new and fresh module system in order to get rid of all the game-breaking bugs we faced in 1.4. I am not experienced enough to fix those, so this was the only alternative.
Meanwhile Akathir will soon be working on re-doing the parties & positions on the campaign map. We'll be making some changes regarding the accessible map size. (Making it smaller), removing some factions and focus on other area's instead.
Looking for 2d Artists!
We've never been completely satisfied with our current backgrounds, UI and other 2D art in Bellum Imperii. In 1.5 we want to have this changed and because of that we are looking for people to help us change this!
So, do you know your way around with 2D programs (Photoshop, Gimp, Paint.net etc) and do you want to help us out with giving Bellum Imperii a new look? Don't hesitate and send us a PM on Moddb or contact us through any of the other channels! Any help is highly appreciated!
