Really nice addition and no offense intended but... those tunics don't look really roman-ish...

Non taken! We unfortunately don't have anything better that would fit the senators. So these will have to do until we've found an alternative

Look for it in the mod Annis Tenebrarum.

Thanks for the hint, will check it out but I'm afraid it's not going to be of much use. That mod has copyright issues all over the place as it doesn't credit anyone for all the assets it uses.

I entered the senate building fearless as a wolf, aware of dangers that I might face. When I finally stood in the center, I spoke, "I stand before the Senate today to announce that there is corruption within the Senate and will be answered with Justice. One or two of you were involved in a murder of our beloved Emperor. Legionaries, stand ready!!"
*A band of 40 Roman Legionaries storm the Senate building, kicking the doors open, pointing their spears at the Senators in formation.*

"What is the meaning of this?!" one of the Senators demanded wrathfully

"You have committed treason against Rome, the people and the Gods by murdering the previous Emperor in cold blood. How do you answer to these crimes?" I answered confidently

"This is an outrage! What we have done is for the good of Rome!" another senator yells going towards me as four legionaries blocked him from potentially committing murder again

"No. What you have done is for your own ambitions to rise to power. Rome needs a leader to defend Rome and her people, not a bunch of hooligans debating about the prices of food or how much taxes must be paid." I said firmly

Before any of them could argue any further, I continued my speech, "Listen to me, legionaries, and senators willing to hear me out. Our glorious republic that Gaius Julius Caesar initially expanded into a glorious empire is now under the threat of the Celts to the North, the Germanic tribes in Germania, the Gauls in Gaul, uprisings of Goths in Hispania and the Parthians to the east! Committing troops to defend the lands we have taken is a priority for our people to prosper!"

As I go on, the same two Senators that spoke out without courtesy, drew their knives. Several of my legionaries notice and knock them back to the floor.

"Seize them and put them in the dungeons. These two will face a tribunal at dawn." I command

"We must defend Rome now before it is too late. If you plot to stop me, then Rome will fall. Therefore I give you two choices, allow me to lead my legions against our enemies, and potentially negotiate terms or kill me and allow Rome to be destroyed." I concluded

The rest of the Senators were left baffled by my speech as they begin to mutter amongst themselves. I led my legionaries out, preparing to leave Rome and to defend the lands of our glorious empire.

Description

Putting some life in the senate! Al through I'm not sure yet if I'll ever be able to create a full feature around it. You'll in 1.5 at least be able to visit the Senate floor and have dialog with various senators!
