I'm pretty sure the french didn't lose, i may be wrong... the axis lost?
Sadly you are incorrect, after the Germans took paris, the French still had French Foreign Legion and Legionarries all over Africa. ALSO the French had resistant memebers in Paris and other French cities, so infact they didn't lose they just had a set back, get it right.
