Don´t appear the skins... and the maps T_T.
theres no maps,and the skins it should be working,do you have extracted the mod to BF1942/Mods and entered bf1942/mods/bpw/archives and copy textures,textures_001,objects,standardmesh and animations.Paste those files to BF1942/archives.(it wont change your game,at least here it didnt)
Ah, so you are replacing the original files of the game. Why not you try to make an independient file? is easy using the BF accesories by make mods. ;)
and you need patch 1.6
