Back2Fronts is an extensive mod that will overhaul your Call of Duty 2 game to a next level. This mod brings more variety, intensity, realism and battle-like experience. Try new weapons, fight new enemies, fulfil new missions and explore new options. Mod is SP and MP friendly (although primary part is SP).
This video shows some captures from pre-alpha version of Back2Fronts mod for Call of Duty 2. Here you can see Springfield M1903A4 and Mauser Kar98k + Zielvier. In some of the previous videos those 2 rifles were just 3D program renders. Now you can see their full beaty ingame.
The Springfield has M82 2.25x scope and the Mauser has Zeiss Zielvier 4x scope (magnifications are not yet corrected to real values), plus new FlaK 88mm in the background :-)
Note the new lens effects on the sniper rifles. Using transparent and nontransparent textures with high reflection of light makes nice performance.
