Here is a video preview of the knife attack that replaces regular melee bash for scoped weapons.
Nice. Will you add a prone animation? Also will the knife ever be a stand-alone weapon? Also the knife looks under-powered.
I quite don't understand what do you mean by 'prone animation'. Do you mean like to see your hands actually crawling on the ground? That's not possible, unfortunetely.
Yes that's what I meant, and why is it impossible? And I guess it's impossible to see your feet aswell.
It's impossible because there is no slot to put such animation into.
About the feet - there are no feet at all in the viewmodel :-)
To the damage - on the contrary, knife attack is the most powerful melee. It has more than 4times greater damage than regular bash to make it (almost) and instant kill.
Well I guess it's more realistic than in other games.
Does the enemy can use a knife too? Also the melee uses the same button as sprint, like in WCP? i mean sometime you want to use melee but you sprint, and you can't change the controls...
Knifing replaces regular bash on scoped weapons. So it uses the MELEE key.
Sprint is executed by a USE key in a special combo.
Melee impact still sound like bash...
Can't be corrected so far.
