Thanks!
I plan to add bolt charge for empty reload and some slight changes. Also, to make it work in CoD2, I must reanimate the hands

That looks great! I say again that I don't understand why Treyarch cut off all the British weapons.

By the way, is this a video of CoD2 or CoD WaW? I ask because the hands are those of CoD WaW; does it mean that they will also be imported into CoD2, or the video is recorded on CoD WaW?

Regards.

It's a shame that WaW has got a lot of stuff cut off. But on the other hand it is really a good luck that they kept the unused files in the game because then I can import them :-D

To your question: the video is a render so it wasn't recorded ingame but in the modelling program. The hands are from WaW because the animation is from WaW (hands in CoD2 and WaW are incompatible). That means I must reanimate the hands, do changes I wish to do and after that you can see it ingame.

WaW has the most cut content of any Call of Duty, in second place is CoD 4.

WaW had an entire cut faction.

I've heard they kept the Lee-Enfield model files in WAW as well, is that true?

Yup, they kept much more unused files in WaW. And I am going to use them for mod!

That's great news, but did they keep the whole model in files, or just the animations?

Most of the times only animations are there. But that doesn't matter since original CoD2 models can be used without problems after few tweaks.

Description

Here is a render showing CoD2 Bren model with ported unused Bren animations from CoDWaW. This was a test to examine a new tool for CoD - the xAnim Exporter by Tom Bmx. What this utility does is that it can import the binary coded xanim files from CoD4, CoDWaW and CoDBO.
This Bren animation will be used as a template for creation of the new one for B2F.
