Links to the steam workshop download and our discord can be found in the description! Awakening of the Rebellion is a total overhaul of Forces of Corruption. Immerse yourself in the Galactic Civil War era as the fledgling Rebellion, the oppressive Empire, or the criminal Black Sun pirates. This mod is not for the feint of heart and will test your RTS skills with a completely overhauled AI and difficulty. Schönen 2.Advent Comrades, we went forward with the TDU Series and today the TIE Punisher makes his offical appereance.
Oh and the Weapon Loadout is not final, we also have Heavy Assault Missiles and Ion Torpedoes in the Portfolio...
So given its name as the Tie Interdictor, does it actually have any hyper drive/missle interdiction capabilities? Or is it just a name lul
En.wikipedia.org thats a nice description of purpose. You could flank enemy fleets that are approaching and give them a heavy punch with its big amount of torpedoes...
Send your fleet to keep the enemy busy while jumping a large group of these bad boys with a small fighter escort to eliminate their targets
"Air interdiction (AI), also known as deep air support (DAS), is the use of preventive aircraft attacks against enemy targets, that are not an immediate threat, in order to delay, disrupt, or hinder later enemy engagement of friendly forces."
The previous TIEs were all very nice. But to be honest i am not a huge fan of this design.
Its just a functional design, more of all... :P
Will there also be a heavy Tie-Bomber? Maybe as Ground-Unit. Starwars.wikia.com
That's basically the same thing but a minor difference. It wouldn't really have a point other than "here's a slightly weaker Tie Punisher" So the answer to that will be a no.
