Oh, it's a fighter/bomber right now? How is it going fulfill the bomber role then? The TIE Defender's missile like ordinanace is a choice of armament. SFS M-g-2 general-purpose warhead launchers (2)[1]
Standard load: 4 concussion missiles or 3 proton torpedoes each[2]. So there is a variant of this fighter that one that is anti-fighter and one that is anti-capital ship? Or am I imagining this wrong? Also I like the overhaul you made Steiner! Looks cool!
The TIE Defender has always been a multi-role fighter-bomber.
I know but in 2.6 the TIE Defender is an anti-fighter ship albeit with laser cannons and anti-fighter missiles along with Ion Cannons. I was just questioning how is it going to be a bomber in the mod. Probably proton torpedo variant of the Defender added including the standard anti-fighter version?
I hope the Defender has protons like the X-wing, but at the same time I would rather see a dog fighting version and a Fighter bomber version
It have Ion Cannons, so it have capabilities to take out smaller/midsize Capital Class Ships. That turns it to a Fighter/bomber. It will have C.Missiles as loadout.
