Autumn Aurora 2 it's modification made by small group from Poland which brings the autumnal atmosphere to the Zone and totally overhauls the graphics, audio and gameplay of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl.

Did you do the "bleak" add on just for AA or is it a separate texture pack?

Thanks for updating this great mod, my favorite along with AMK!

"Bleak" it's only for AA2.1. It's included in newest AA2.1.
No problem, take care.

Just downloaded updated version, looks amazing!
I want to add something though:
1) DO NOT reccomend ppl to use 4aa instead of DoF! Because:
--a) 4aa can't compare with DoF in image quality in any ways.
--b) 4aa is killing fps, LITERALLY. With DoF i have stable 60 fps on i5-750 (2.66-3.6ghz), gtx 770. With 4aa i have ~40 fps average, with 2aa - ~50 fps.
--c) SweetFx's SMAA is more than enough to provide decent anti-aliasing (even on 1680x1050), without perfomance hit.
2) Please disable ENB's EdgeAA by default, it does work as anti-aliasing but makes image incredible blurry and ruining overall image quality. It can be used for games without any AA\SMAA support, but Stalker can benefit from SweetFx SMAA so EdgeAA is useless.
3) Any chances to see 2.04 Weapons back? As an additional downloadable pack or something? I tried to replace them manually but without success. Some of the old weapons looks like real masterpieces, like Special AK's or default AKSU with amazing animation of butt of the rifle :3 (cmon, check this beauty again Youtu.be)
4) (Not so important) I've heard you guys removed zombies from x-labs in 2.05+, any chances to bring them back by a patch or option in Installer? I know that you remove them because in your opinion they are ruining x-labs atmosphere of emptiness, but i think they are perfectly fit for such locations.
Thanks for your great work!

Description

My recommendation about playing in AA2.1

-no minimap
-no health/stamina/ammo bars

(above options you can find in the package with mod in #Mod Options directory)

-master difficulty
-no crosshair
-disabled SMAA in SweetFX.txt and EdgeAA in enbseries.ini. I'm using x4AA forced in Nvidia drivers and yes, I don't have DynamicDof, but the overall image is so SMOOTH (especially trees in the distance) and I don't regret it. No grass/trees flickering, all edges are so smooth. I highly recommend it.

If you want to dramatically improve your performance, delete all "level.details" files from Gamedata/levels. The grass won't be so high but still dense and your performance much better.

Let the tests of upgraded AA2.1 begin.
