I got 10 weeks to work on a personal portfolio piece.
Since I wanted to show off my level design skills and knowledge of the source engine I decided to make a small map pack mod for Half-Life, my favorite game series of all time.
I dedicated six (intense) weeks to build this mod and I hope you will like it. Download, play and tell me what you think. I appreciate all constructive feedback.
The mod will release on March the 10th.

New images added from the mod. These images show some areas in the second map in which the player will be. All feedback is more than welcome, especially regarding the lighting. I am trying to convey a feel of both warm and cold on certain areas. My goal is to guide the player not only by direct lighting but also by conveying a feel.

"Aurora: Reinstated" was a fairly good HL2 user-made mod while it 'lasted': Which is the keyword, 'lasted.'
It is very, very short -- easily one of the shortest user-made HL2 mods I have ever played. For this reason alone, I rate it only 3/10.
Short but sweet! My only complaint is that the console has been deactivated so I wasn't able to fiddle with this as much as I had hoped.
Hope you have more projects up your sleeve!
Short, but well executed. Nice looking maps, good combat but not over-the-top stupid impossible, that some modders seem to think makes a mod unique.

Game starts its loading scenes but when I click the new or load game it shows no game saves or new games !!
The same thing happened to me: It doesn't 'SHOW' a 'save-game' message onscreen while I wasplaying....but it did save every time I hit the 'quicksave,' button nonetheless.
Amazing game loved it really want the last chapters.
