Help with monolith questline! Thread - A.R.E.A. mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

So recently I started a monolith run and began the rebirth questline from the mentor. I ended up defeating the giant, killed a spy and helped clear the underground lab for the brain scorcher. After returning to the mentor, I get a quest to kill major Degtyarev (supposedly in the outskirts with the stalker base). I searched all of Pripyat and killed every human (except monolith's) and mutant in the city and raided the stalker camp whenever the free stalker's spawned but I can't seem to finish the quest. I do have my message record from the mentor but its hard to understand any of it (maybe due to translation errors).

So has anyone done this quest? or know where Degtyarev actually is?

Ps the questline doesn't give any markers

Degtyarev is in Agroprom Research Institute. Top floor.

is the mission bugged? I already killed him but the mission does not update

Hmmm, so it would seem that the questline is incomplete. After killing Degtyarev at Agroprom Institute, it still wouldn't finish the questline for you guys?

Have you updated to the last version to see if this problem still exists?

After many painful quick loads, I managed to reach Agroprom and kill Degtyarev (and the entire military personal) but after coming back to Central Pripyat and talking to the Mentor, he still wouldn't progress the mission or give any new dialog options while the PDA still says kill Degtyarev. I'm thinking either there are two Degtyarevs in the game world or this part of the mission is just incomplete. After replaying the questline from the beginning in the most recent patch, I did notice the dialog's were more refined and crisper compared to the older versions of the same mission.
