A.R.E.A. is a standalone project based on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. trilogy. The project affects all aspects of the game with no exceptions, improving their quality and diversity. The main goal was to create a more realistic Exclusion Zone, where each trip will be a unique and rough experience.

Got an escort mission from Clear Sky in the Swamp. Brought the ecologist to the anomaly and he started walking through fire anomalies and doing whatever it is ecologists do in anomalies. 10 minutes later, he's still doing it. No end in sight! Only way to proceed in this quest is to pump a bunch of lead into the ecologist. This triggers a mission update, followed by a fail message (presumably because the ecologist is dead). Otherwise he just...sits there in the anomaly seemingly indefinitely. Am I suppose to do something else? Wait longer? Walk somewhere? What? Saving and loading while a fair bit away from him seemed to help. Or maybe he just finished doing it? |

There was this quest in Anomaly aswell. It's like witchcraft or something. You have to wait longer, get closer him, etc. check around the parameter. I don't know I did random stuff and sometimes it caused a quest update after a while. Maybe just wait longer, try to save and just do time_factor 50 and see if something changes after a while ( I don't know if this mission is dependent on time_factor or real time but check ) Edited by: Oddy_Nuff -- I wrote a long reply and it got deleted |
