Photorealistic reshade for Portal 2 that makes the game look like it was released this year

This can be installed for almost any game in addition to Portal 2, but the installation process will vary. Here is a version for Half-Life 2 (and all Half-Life 2-based games): Nexusmods.com

How to install:

1. Download this mod and the latest version of Reshade from: Reshade.me
2. Run the .exe installer you downloaded
3. Press select game, and navigate to \steamapps\common\Portal 2\bin
4. Select vvis.exe and press ok, tick the box that says Direct3D 9
5. The program will ask you if you want to download a collection of standard effects, click yes.
6. Make sure everything is selected and press OK
7. Close the installer
8. Place the Aperture.ini and ReShade.ini from this zip into \steamapps\common\Portal 2\
9. Place the filmlut.png file into \Portal 2\bin\reshade-shaders\Textures
10. Launch the game, press the home key to open reshade menu
11. Select the aperture reshade preset by pressing the small arrows at the top of the menu

Done, you can use the tickboxes to disable / enable effects you want. It is important to keep the LUT tickbox enabled.

For anyone trying to install this for Portal Stories: Mel:

Portal Stories: Mel doesn't have a vvis.exe file. What you need to do is copy the one from Portal 2 located in \steamapps\common\Portal 2\bin and paste it into the bin of Portal Stories: Mel (Portal Stories: Mel actually has two bin folders, it's the one with the vvis.dll file that you need to copy it into).

Once you've done that just follow the same instructions.

If you want Portal Stories: Mel to have the exact same reshade settings as Portal 2 without wasting time setting it yourself just copy the Aperture.ini file from Portal 2 and paste it into Portal Stories: Mel and overwrite the one that comes with this mod.

Can I somehow enable Depth of Field? I've tried it by using console commands, but it works really terrible and Reshade has no depth buffer access.
Pleas help
