Another Goddamned Half-Life Mod tells the epically epic story of a rad emo teenager who dooms the world by not following basic instructions. Stupid millennials. While fighting off aliens with the worst arsenal on the planet, you find out what Science Place really is. The "scientists" there tell you that you need to kill Mutaboi, the giant floating head of SomeOrdinaryGamers. Pretty rad if I do say so myself.
Oh, you're wondering about the worst arsenal on the planet? Think airsoft guns, belt-fed Uzis, a Glock that shoots rockets, and a virtual machine that spits out porn. Satisfied? Good, because it won't come out for the next 2 years.
Anyway, I've said enough. Go do whatever you were doing before.
Happy belated 2021, everyone! We're still fucked anyway, so it doesn't matter.
Not much has really gone on, to be honest. I'm trying to give AGD its "personality" so to speak. This means I'm redoing all the music and artwork for the game (see loading screen above,) and also doing the tutorial all over again. I know, minor changes and no development, I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I've also got another project I'm working on with my friends, so that is my top priority right now.
To those new here, don't expect many drastic changes in the game. Expect a beta around Q2 or Q3. For updates, go to my YouTube channel to see gameplay, updates, patches, all that good stuff you want to see. I've already got some right here.
That's pretty much all I have to say, nothing has really changed. Goodbye and stay safe.
Some pre-alpha gameplay of Another Goddamned Half-Life Mod. This includes music and some (unfinished) weapons.

If the main hero is a rad emo teenager then where's his pink/black hair that covers one eye?
Haven't gotten artwork out showcasing Devossi's actual face. He's not that emo, anyway.
"good, because it won't come out for another two years." if only he meant it won't come out ever. :(
The amount of generic messup mods in the mods section is worrying. Who the hell approves this to be shown anyways?
I don't know. What really ****** me off is that I can unauthorise these mods but it's just a temporary solution - usually somebody approves the mod again just a few hours later. So I gave up.
Truth to be told, there's constantly about 150 mods waiting to be approved, but that doesn't mean the staff shouldn't check what they're approving. It frustrates me a lot but I really can't do much.
Sad to hear that this cannot be stopped. Can you decide wheter authorising/unauthorasing mods for the Half-Life section? Why don't the Moddb staff doesn't give their moderation of the sections of a game (addons, mods, etc...) to the most active and capable members for that specific game?
It's an absolute nightmare. I can only unauthorise Half-Life, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Battlefield 2 mods. These are the games I play, so I have deliberately asked the staff to have more influence in their sections.
That was three years ago and even though it's hard to believe, the situation was even worse than now. There were more mess-up mods in the HL section than normal ones. And the staff provided: they gave me an option to unauthorise "unworthy" mods.
However, there's a catch: I can't delete the mods permanently and I can't even authorise any mod, even if it is clearly a good one. They wanted to maintain a certain control over me.
That is alright and I get it. And in theory it all works perfectly fine. I'm like a G-Man of sorts: I can recommend certain actions to my "e-e-employersss".
But their theory is flawed. Becouse when I unauthorise a mod, they just authorise it few hours later without even checking it. Hardly anything gets ever deleted.
To keep the sections clean I would have to unauthorise each bad mod multiple times a day. That's a certain loophole. But I don't have the time to do that. And that's why I gave up.
What a joke.
How many people are moderating the HL and Stalker pages anyway? Maybe more people doing a quality check will make some difference?
I don't think many people do that. And to be honest, it's not exactly easy to persuade the staff to let us moderate the mods ourselves. I guess they don't trust us enough, which is a shame.
Oh my...
