It's wonderful to play these few original, really good stolyline with decent mapping, atmosphere and really well made scares. I'm glad that I played this. it's overall really nicely done. Make more :)

Really amazing! I enjoyed it alot, scary but no cheap jumpscares except at one point but other than that perfect atmosphere and everything :D Looking forward to part 2.

This is what Amnesia custom stories should be all about. The atmosphere in it alone scares you - and that is what Horror is all about.

Good mod

Certainly one of the better custom stories on the site. Thoroughly enjoyed playing and i'm really looking forward to the next part. For the review though i'm going to divide it up into the pros and cons of the custom story starting with the pros...

Pros
- Very detailed maps
- Unique and Interesting Story
- Some sections of the maps framerate was exceptional
- No jumpscares around every corner
- Great soundtrack

Cons
- Far too many keys to find
- Rusty keys were hard to see
- The coal section, When i was running with one piece of coal the grunt killed me in one hit and the chunk of coal fell out the map so i had to restart the custom story so if you can make grunts respawn after they've killed you, coal should be able to as well
- Some sections of the map were incredibly laggy

So to some up what i've already said i thought this was a very good custom story that with a few tweaks here and there will be number 1 on the site without a doubt!

(P.S i also thought you could have done developed the pewdiepie reference slightly more - not the extent where it becomes stupid like some CS on this site but perhaps ONE poofer or something)

Has a really good set up and has logical placement of keys that doesn't devolve into item hunting. It's got good pacing and pretty good level design. The scares are good, half of which are original the other half unique. So its got things going for it. The story is fairly simple but keeps intrigue so its a trade off. There are some small number of jump scares but nothing out annoying.

There is a sequence that requires button pressing that merely makes you explore well. There is one part that really drags out however, with a monster that does not despawn and you must collect 5 pieces of coal. Its a bit to hard and repetitive in what was otherwise a good mod.

I give it above average for doing everything except story exceptionally well.

amazingly put together, ambiance fits all scenes, all around awesome.

This mod is more than great! it is a perfekt one. locations are made very well. Music in "Chambers" is just ideal and scary... For more than half of the game I felt a chill geos down my spine. The makres added their own 3D model to game what is in my opinion a positive thing.

The best custom story I have ever played. It was so scary that I had to take breaks from it which I have never done in any custom story ever before. I also liked the little details that you put inside your maps and the custom sounds. Good job!

This story is absolutely stunning! Levels are incredibly detaild and simply wonderful. You have a story put into it, no lame scares, good difficult and spooky enviroments!

You might have overused the classic key quest a little thought, and I personally disliked the voice acting when you pick up diary pages. Otherwise, a must play for all Amnesia players looking for a great challange and a beutiful story! Please, dont stop making stories. People like you are needed!
