Alternate Warfare is a Total Conversion on C&C3 engine, the background story is set in the Cold War era in a different timeline, in which the experimental weapons that never practically saw service are granted a chance to prove themselves in the battlefield. As the Commander, you will have to battle through a series of campaigns dating from regional conflict in the 70s to a full-scale nuclear war in the mid-90s, make use of these new weapons wisely in order to emerge victorious in this Alternate Warfare.

At first, there are informations about several units and structures from the US army side:

Ground units:

Light Infantry Squad: Consisting 4 riflemen and 1 squad leader. effective against infantry. Squad leader can be upgraded to equip a grenade launcher, effective against buildings and garrisoned troops, but ineffective against fast-moving targets. Squad leader can also tag enemys with laser designator, making it more vulnerable.

Anti-armor Infantry Squad: Consisting 4 riflemen and 1 squad leader armed with AT missiles. Effective against vehicles and gunships. Squad leader can be upgraded with laser dazzler capable of drastically lower combat effectiveness of targeted ground units.

Engineer Squad:Consisting 3 combat enginees. Detect landmines. Can build bunkers on the battlefield.

MBT70: Main battle tank. can deploy smoke screen to hide self at the sacrifice of own sight and attack range. Can switch to gun-launched missiles to increase damage vs vehicles.

Sergeant York DIVAD: Detect stealth aircrafts. Can switch to active radar mode to increase sight and attack range, but doing so would reveal itself on enemy radar. Can be upgraded with advanced anti-air missile.

XR311 Jeep: detects stealth ground units.

M808 APC:transports infantry units.

All ground units can get supply from nearby supply depot to increase their combat effectiveness.

AH56 Gunship: Equiped with machine gun and 6 AT missiles. need return to helipad for missiles reloading.

F23 jetfigher: Can be called to any position over battlefield. Carries AA and AG missiles. Automatically leaves mission area if out of ammo.

VSTOL: Transport ground units. After building airfield, you can choose to build airborne units which will be dropped instantly to chosen position.

Defense structures:

Vulcan tower: effective to both aircrafts and light armor ground units like infantry. any vulcan cannon deployed near friendly radar station can get firepower bonus.

I dont think putting AH56 in the arsenal was a good idea. I've heard it was a complete failure. But anyways nice update, keep it commin.

Nice work! The infantry look great, as does the MBT70. The jeep could use some work though. It looks like someone just cut some holes in the side and called it good. VSTOL's texture could use some details too. Overall good job. I'll be watching this one!
