Alternate Warfare is a Total Conversion on C&C3 engine, the background story is set in the Cold War era in a different timeline, in which the experimental weapons that never practically saw service are granted a chance to prove themselves in the battlefield. As the Commander, you will have to battle through a series of campaigns dating from regional conflict in the 70s to a full-scale nuclear war in the mid-90s, make use of these new weapons wisely in order to emerge victorious in this Alternate Warfare.
Hi guys, sorry that we went dark for a while, Anyways here's a little compensater for you: the new Tech Barrcks which will be included in the next version.
Special rules:
Can produce special infantry unit: Militia or Mercenary Squad (still trying to decide which one)
Can produce player faction's own T1 Infantry at lower cost
Will slightly reduce the production time of units in your own Barracks.
Mercenary Squad sounds better :) and makes more sense as you get Mercs outside your military..

Loox really good and well Mercenary Squad does sound better, definitely more highly trained since Militia is more like Citizens taking up arms to fight. I remember that from History during the battle in my city in which case the Militia (ordinary Citizens willing to fight) was laid waste by enemy Veteran Soldiers, however the *victory* was shallow and later the enemy surrendered in York Town.
