The random waves are good, but they don't blend into the models, instead looking very jagged.

Hmm perhaps edit the transparency graphs similar to smoke may solve the problem? As far as i know, the smoke doesn't jag into buildings like this dust. Once the jagging is fixed it will look very good :)

Nice!
But I agree with Yronno, the waves don't seem to be blending in with the models that well..

I don't care if the random waves don't blend with the models, the atmosphere of the map is great and that (in my opinion) is the most important thing.

JONES, is it also possible to make the washing lines/overhead power lines/other vegetation shake like the trees do?

Thanks man, i already changed the trees and grass to move more in the sandstorm, but i doubt this is possible for the cables.

The bf2 physicssystem is not as good as the one from half life 2 actualy... but it would be nice no doubt!

*Sorry for long reply, didn't check this page*

Awesome.

It would be really cool to have this kind of effect you made in some of the snow maps in BF2142, no doubt you've seen how bad the snowing effects look in that game. The snow flakes are just big white blobs and don't look convincing.

Would be great to have a snow storm map in 2142 where there is low visibility and it's up to you to guide your way through the storm using your map and instincts. Support/Recon classed people in your squad would be more useful for highlighting enemies in the fog for the rest of your team to aim at them.

hmmm... from a lot of alpha/beta screens i've seen karkand as a nearly fogless map. Could you make two versions of the map like Strike at Karkand Clear and Strike at Karkand Sandstorm? The clear would be like it was originally supposed to be and sandstorm because it suits the map so good.
