Alpha Project is a Battlefield 2 modification which goals are to bring back all the features that were left out in the retail game. The gameplay style of the mod is a mixture of arcade and realism.

I think he meant, that they will be able to choose in free menu, like special equipment

Hah actualy the soldierskins dont use normals, they use some kind of os map and i havent touched it, only the gloveskin :)

two things: 1st, do you thonk you could add the acog and aimpount or grenade launcher varients of weapons as maybe rank unlocked items(or just have them all automatically unlocked and selectable)? From my bit of modding experience i would say its possible:).

Also are you going to be adding the frostbite map into the mod (may I recommend a lower view distance) and (of course it wasnt in the alpha but many people love that map)
Nah unlock kits are hardcoded only way to make them working for mods is using your own exe file like pr and fh2 mod, thought thats no easy stuff i would need a experianced coder for that :)

Not sure yet but frostbite could get into the mod since my mod is made for big maps and frostbite is one of the few big maps i have done for bf2 ;)

i am not sure what you mean :) every picture i post is eighter a ingamescreenshot or a render from bf2 meshview made with photoshop :D

I looked into the unlock thing, (you may already know this) but it turns out the AIX mod has a version where according to rank unlocks on vbf2 you could use different weapons. for example the bf2 engineer tier 2 weapon is changed to an m16 or something in aix, so when you unlock the next shotgun for the engineer in vbf2, you have an m16 for your engineer in AIX...pretty clever, that might be something to look into...ranked servers on alpha project
