Ages of the Federation is a new total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. This mod takes place in the Enterprise and Original series eras, focusing on the conflict between the early Federation and Klingon Empire. A resurgent Romulan Star Empire, angry and still licking its wounds after their defeat to Earth and her allies waits in the shadows, ready to take advantage of any of misstep by either the warring powers. The Xindi, new to the galactic stage are also eager to forge their own path.

Bit of a stupid question but will we need the minor factions DLC to play this? Very good looking mod can't wait to play it.
The mod has been designed and built with the Minor Factions DLC as a major part, allowing us to do a lot of cool stuff we wouldn't have been able to do before. I suspect you will be able to play without it, though it will be very difficult for us to give you any support if there are issues.
Personally I can't recommend it enough. If you can afford it, it's probably the best DLC there is for the game and definitely worth picking up.

It's May. We have a running joke that every time someone asks 'When's the mod coming out?' we push it back by a month.
The beta will be ready to play on the 13th of May. ;)
Ahh the Gabe Newell approach, delaying HL3 every time someone made a crack about his weight he pushed it back a year.
But seriously, congrats, I cannot wait to play this. And then, later on after the Four Years War, my favorite era of the Trek universe...

there wouldnt be much to show for all that hard work though if they did that...

What is the ship in the picture? she looks like a Connie but with an NX deflector dish mounted on the saucer. sorry, I know a lot about star trek but not everything ^^
