Let the player use it for timetravel. Just in case a probe comes by. The game will load the last autosave, you pick up some whales and once again the day is safed. Hurray!

-Neutral Zone Update-

-Starship Shadow Hawk-

The invasion fleets stand ready, masking their sensor profiles by staying as close to the neighboring stars as possible. We await four more starships from the Reman fleetyards then the forces shall be sufficient to send our dagger swiftly and deep into human territory. Straight for the heart and then the rest will bleed away.

We have not received confirmation from Gal Gath'throng concerning out data packet. The Praetor's Flagship is under orders to run silent. This discrepancy is therefore not of concern.

We serve only the Tal Shiar.

Description

Max adds a superior replacement to the stock yellow star - a G-type main sequence star.

Main sequence stars are stars that use hydrogen atoms as fuel, fusing them into helium atoms in their cores - essentially churning balls of burning plasma maintained by fusion and contained by intense gravity. Much like the boils on my left butt cheek, these stars often form in clusters, making them by far the most common stars in the cosmos - up to 90 percent of the stars in the known universe are main sequence stars, ranging in size from a tenth of our own star's mass to more than 200 times Sol's size.

G-type main sequence stars, like our own sun, are commonly known as yellow dwarf stars. This isn't entirely accurate - believe it or not, our sun is actually white, only appearing yellow through our atmosphere.

So there you have it - that comforting, warm, golden light that brings happiness and joy into your life is all an illusion. Sunshine is a lie.

How cheery.

This particular star replaces the stock yellow star that has been seen in a few past screenshots. We haven't yet decided what effect they will have on your ships, or indeed if they'll have an effect at all.
