Age of Bronze 1.51 has been released! This is a fairly small update, mainly fixing the missing factions that some players had reported after the release of the Power and Politics update for the base game. These factions have been restored to the custom battles menu, and on top of that we've taken the opportunity To add a number of new graphical assets, including a brand new icon for the Troy faction, and reworks of a number of old models. Those of you subscribed to the mod on Steam will receive the update automatically, and an update to the single-part download will be coming shortly. UPDATE: The single-part download is now available through the files section, enjoy!

In addition, we are pleased to announce that this page is now being run as the 'official' Age of Bronze presence on ModDB, and that Echuu has been brought on board the team as our social media manager. His running of the ModDB page so far has been an invaluable contribution, and we are thrilled to welcome him on board the team.

Expect some changes and edits to this page over the next few weeks as we clean it up and give it a new coat of paint. Also expect more regular news stories and more sneak previews of what content is to come. Alternatively you can give us a like on our Facebook page!

I put the .pack in the Rome II data folder, but when I launch the game it's just the regular unmodded version with nothing changed.

First off, I wanna say that this mod is truly amazing and I’ve enjoyed it a ton and I’m looking forward to future releases. I am curious though as to how the campaign development is coming along. Has any significant progress been made on the campaign?
I’ve also noticed that if you do end up creating a campaign, the map for Rome 2 isn’t “changeable” like it was in Rome 1 or Medieval 2. How would a campaign based on Greece and the Near East work for this game with its limited map adjustments?
One final question, some factions have very limited units such as Babylon or Troy. Do you guys intend to add more units and even change the way some of them look in the future?
All questions aside, this mod is fantastic and I’m very excited to see future releases.

Do I need the old 1.5 version, and THEN install the new hotfix, or do I just need the hotfix? I've done the latter but the mod isn't working in game, even though I've activated it through mod manager

Never mind, I got it working. I just didn't "enable out of date mods" on the game's launcher

Why did you name the faction "Verkanna" as such, when its proper, accurate spelling is "Varkâna"? Also, why even use Varkana as the name of this faction when you could use Aryānām xšaθra (could be simplified to just Aryānām), which is a more accurate term for the faction of the Proto-Iranian people?

Simplified english spelling makes more sense here, don't you think? Not enough people have linguistics degrees to know what to do with diacritical marks etc.

Will you be updating the mod after the recent dlc release and update?
