Welcome to Age of Arthur!! Set in the time of the Dark Ages, this mod hopes to encompass the right balance of historical fact and light fantasy. Journey 150 years before the events of Brytenwalda, a time when Saxon hordes have recently arrived in England. See a world lost in Transition, moving from the time of Rome to a new world ruled by war and chaos.

Mostly a bit of polishing and some new armors and props. A few bug fixes and a new seasonal festival system. Just got bored waiting for Bannerlord so thought I'd tinker with AOA a bit :)

AoAII would be a great mod on Bannerlord. This is easily one of my top favorites modules to play for Warband.

Thanks for the update :) But some nasty Bug remain.Morningstar have the wrong Weapon Picture from a Club or a mace.
Arena have the old bug that enemy's spam outside the walls so you must find a spot to left the Arena.
Spy's and assassins have no option to send them on a mission you can ask them only what you can do with them.
And if you have time insert a Minimap into the Battles its a pain to fight if you need to search always for the enemy.

You can send spies / assassins on missions, you need to right click on the town / troop you would like them to be sent via the map. If you have a spy or assassin in your party a new menu option will appear. Please send me a list of any Arena's you still have an issue with and I'll try to fix if I release another fix.

The Arenas are easy all that have that small Room/corridor on one Side.Under the place where the People sit and look. The Enemy span behind the Walls there. To reach them you must enter that Corridor/Room and go under the Sitting people and start to jump after some try you jump outside the Arena and can go Kill the enemy.

I have a "hunt the murderer" quest from Ambrosius Aurelianus where the suspect is in Crow Leah. 3 days of searching hasn't turned up the "nervous man". I have the option to ask about him & everybody responds properly, but he never shows up. Maybe spawning inside a building? I'm trying to suck up to Ambrosius and don't want the negative hit. (Yes, I know, rather selfish for a true hero of Camelot.)

As always, beautiful work! Easily an 11/10 in my book.

Bounty's don't work to 100% in near all Mods i have try.Or you can Kill the Fugitive 100 times and nothing happen or you can not find him or you can only talk to him.The only way to go forward then is to Fail the Quest. And try a new one.To avoid such a Bug Save before you accept a Bounty Quest after make that Quest direct if it have a Bug you don't need to remake to much stuff.

Thanks. I've never encountered this particular bug before. I'll just bite the bullet or restart.

The Bug don't show up often.I think all use the same Scripts for the Bounty's for that you can find the same Bug in near all Mods. But its even possible that its not a Bug.Remember that you must look for the Fugitive always when is full Day in the night they don't show up.And if is the Bug the Steps i write above Work.Even the Bounty have the Bug a reload (Or if is real nasty a full restart from the game can help as that stop for sure all running scripts)can fix it sometimes. But not if the Save is after you Accept the Bounty.

Thanks very much for the detailed answer, Gladius. I searched diligently on 3 separate days (always during daylight!), just in case "Nervous Man" took his time spawning.

Unfortunately, I overwrote the save I had before I took the quest. I'll just have to take the reputation hit, or restart. :-(

Relation is not a Problem.Get a good friendship with a Woman and let her take care of the Lords.Or later when you have a Castle/Town send the Lords some gift that rise much faster your Relation with them and you don't need to make all the Quests they ask for 1-2 Points more.

Was wondering if anyone can help: Having a lot of 'unrecognized opcode' lines ingame. When hovering over 'battle size/limit' it spews out a ton. Something about 'opcode 270: Line 0'. Altering the slider doesn't change battle size either seemingly.

Thinking I might've installed incorrectly? I just dropped the whole thing into "Modules", since I haven't seen any special installation instructions.

The only real problem with this mod is actually in my opinion the lag in battles. That makes me tired of the mod. Thats so sad, everything is actually really good.

But I still downloaded this updated version, and I guess I have to live with the lag.

An Age of Arthur 2 for Bannerlord would be wonderful!

Would love to see this mod in Bannerlord! Because the setting in Bannerlord is earlier than in Warband, I'm sure you wouldn't have to worry too much about finding/creating custom modules for weapons/armor. Looking forward to it!

Dear Lady_Ashwood,

thanks for this great mod! In my opinion one of the best ever!!!
Your ideas are superb! In no mod I played before there are so much things to explore and so much you can do.
There are still some bugs remaining and some things maybe could be optimized. Perhaps things could be fixed / added in the future - that would be very nice...

- loadingtime for cities when arriving is very long - perhaps this could be reduced a bit
- Klethi does not appear in the camp and no start of questline for her in my games
- there are no pictures of the companions in their screen
- all priests I saw so far are "briton", no one for other christian cultures
- christianity seems underpowered in relation to pagens (no option for gaining attributes / skills, no "magic", no good "special unit" like witches for their enemys - perhaps add one good defensive fighter or priests an option to "convert" pagans to christianity or something like this
- no "religious area" for roman culture, only for germanic - what about a roman temple in south of Gallia
- roman units I would suggest not to make christian only - would be nice to play Rome as a pagan, too (like the female commoners troop tree)
- Manhunters I would not make christian only - ist strange, the slavemarkets are in pagan cities only in your mod and the slavehunters are christians
- for combat it would be nice to be able to use shield bash and put polearms to the ground against incoming cavalry (a lot of mods already have both implemented)
- slings and the weaponskill therefore nearly nobody uses and no companion has skillpoints in it - perhaps add skillpoints for it to all companions and children as high as other weaponskills
- there is a book for skillpoint in first aid, but this skill not used in your mod
- it does not fit historically, but I always liked horse archery very much and would like to have this skill back for player (best with optimized screen - in most mods with old skills and new ones added this does not look very good)
- farms in my games always did not accept slaves to work there, only mines did
- some swords (for example heavy bastard sword) are bugged - in use you see them in your hand but still in sword sheath, too
- would be nice to be able to "see" all weapons the characters have equipped (for example throwingdaggers and throwingaxes - I know, this is a problem with original game, but some mods have fixed it already)
- would be nice to be able to "build" farms and mines like already possible with villages and castles (I love this way of founding a kingdom peacefully in your mod)
- I am very sorry to say that, but the ladies - to be honest - do not look very pretty :-D - in "prophesy of pendor" for example it is a pleasure to court some of them (perhaps leave most as they are and change some to really pretty girls)
- when enlisted to a lord, requesting leave, returning and finally leaving service with end of contract there is a bug - in questbook the quest to return does not go away after rejoining the lord, timer goes down and finally you fail the quest to return
- some quests you get in castles, and "religious areas" like in viking conquest would be nice (maybe just "copy" them in your mod ;-) )
- units with banners are bugged - I do not get a bonus for tactics in my character screen when having them in my army, pictish horns I did not use already (in viking conquest it worked properly)
- perhaps add some units (I found only priests in your mod) and equipment you can get skills from (like mule for inventory management, hunter for getting supplies and so on; that already a lot of mods like viking conquest and a world of ice and fire have)

This are much ideas and I would like to do them, but unfortunately I am not talented for this.
Perhaps you like some and optimize your mod further on (some things couls for sure be done very fast by you knowing your mod perfectly and some things already existing could be just "taken over" from other great mods. Please keep on your superb work!!!

Greatings Chris
