Welcome to Age of Arthur!! Set in the time of the Dark Ages, this mod hopes to encompass the right balance of historical fact and light fantasy. Journey 150 years before the events of Brytenwalda, a time when Saxon hordes have recently arrived in England. I would pay for this as DLC. It's probably late beta as far as bugs go, but the content is fantastic :) The author started with vanilla. This is not a submod. Want magic? it's in there. Want a dark age era world free of magic, but full of danger and opportunity? it's in there! It seems like there will be further updates, so it can only get better still.
So I just want to clarify here my 10/10 review was based on this being an incredible mod in development. The Author seems to have gotten bored with it. As it stands right now if this is final build, I would score it a 7.

Great mod, had a few glitches, but latest patch seems to have fixed them. Obviously a lot of time went into this and ability to have your own family is awesome! Great job.

I don't have enough words to describe this masterpiece, I think a perfect phrase to summarize is: At the level of a DLC without being it.
The historical accuracy (as far as possible and diffuse which is the Matter of Britain), even in the names, makes it interesting and "aesthetic" when interpreting the historical facts of that time. Adding the possibility of activating or deactivating the fantastic elements for those who want a more realistic experience or more faithful to the myth of King Arthur.
This stage has fascinated me since I was very young, but now thanks to the Fate Series, my inner weeb couldn't let this experience go by.
Qualification more than justified, if a person achieved this wonder I do not want to imagine what a group with more professional experience could achieve.
Beautiful world, and the best part is the child system that no other mod has.
If you want DLC type of content in Mount & Blade Warband, this mod is for you.
I wouldn't even call it a mod now, for it has so much unique mechanics, that it could be very well sold independently as a expansion.
