Previously known as "An unknown game", this is an ambitious Half-Life total conversion, with a mission-based free-roam gameplay, as well as new features for both players to experience and mappers to use.

Report RSS Sequel for Source engine (plans), remake for Source engine and more...

In this news article you'll find very basic and interesting information on the mod's renewal in the Source engine, as well as the sequel, which will be on both, GoldSRC and Source.

I would like to tell you some very, but very good news about the mod.

First of all, I'd like to say that the mod will have a remake in the Source engine! Of course, some people (like me) love GoldSRC more than Source, but this will mean that there are going to be things that will be improved, such as visuals (you know the first level set in the cave? It will be made out of vertexes!), gameplay elements, and one of the best things: we'll have vehicles in a Source engine Edition-only multiplayer map! If you know the jeep from Half-Life 2 (and you certainly do), then you know what do I mean.

Sequel

As for the sequel, it will be created firstly for Source, and then for GoldSRC. But, I can't tell you anything at the moment, so just so you could know, there is going to be a sequel, I just don't know when...

In fact, I didn't realize, but there's a 10% chance that Half-Life 3 will come out during the making of the mod's sequel, which might mean that the mod will also get a Source 2 port, but that is way too much now, especially since I haven't actually finished the first one yet.

I'd also like to tell you that, as soon as I get my hands on the Source SDK, which I have been cringing for in the past 6 months, there will be more opportunities for me, as well as including interesting content: e.g. one level will have security cameras, and you can't have render target screens in GoldSRC that easily, while that exists in Source, and is very nice to use, especially since there are computer models in Source, so I won't have to make them out of brushes like I do in GoldSRC.

And, for the end, I have to say that I am going to open a website soon, made specifically for people who want to know more about making maps for Half-Life, Counter-Strike 1.6, and Far Cry (the first one), but not just that...
