I enjoyed Absolutum Dominium but wasn't satisfied with the Spanish line infantry uniforms. Therefore, I decided to change them to more historical ones. I also changed the Guardias de Corps, Walloon Guards, and Guardias de infantería to their historical blue color instead of white. Lastly, I modified the artillery uniforms to a nicer blue (similar to what the French have in the mod) and the militia to a blue and red uniform.

NOTE: The latest Absolutum Dominium mod is REQUIRED.

Hey, Otto-Von-Bismarck. I have not considered making one for darthmod because it would require considerable modding. I don't have too much time to work on that, but the base AD mod is already pretty cool. Perhaps you could try looking for Bran McBorn's BAI mod. It is a great addon that makes the battles more challenging and the Battle AI more intelligent.

Hi. I wrote a comment somewhere, but perhaps you missed it. It's not here anyhow. Will you be doing anything similar for other factions? I have some ideas I'd love to share. (Especially for Sweden) Shall I just post it here, or provide my email?

Hey Gardiner, I haven't seen your comment. I am thinking about correcting the uniforms of other factions. Sweden, for example, never fully convinced me, and I have thought about changing their infantry uniforms. Go ahead and share your ideas through here :)

My email is mattfrompnth@gmail.com. I have quite detailed roster ideas for almost all the European nations and ideas for changing up the European units recruitable in India. But i don't want to fill up the comments section here. Hope you'll email me and we can communicate in that way.

Thanks Francentre. It's a pleasure to meet another fan of the AD mod. It always made sense to me, that in a game where you can't upgrade your units (Unlike Medieval or Rome), that uniforms should be mid-century. Also like how unique units are usually 2 recruitable, so you have battalions rather than regiments.

On to Sweden!

Currently they have no unique line infantry. The uniform for the Varvade-type infantry is incorrect. They ought to have blue breeches. However, Sacrebleu has inadvertently given us the 'Vasterbottens' Infantry by dressing them the way that he has. So rename 'Varvade' to 'Vasterbottens' and make it two recruitable.
Second, still using the basic line infantry model, create a new Varvade-type infantry with the breeches the same colour as the coat. Say, six recruitable.
I would make a second unique regiment for Sweden by using the line infantry model with blue coat, red waistcoat, breeches, collar, turnbacks, cuffs and button holes, white gaiters, and black tricorne with white lace, called 'Narke-Varmlands'. (2 recruitable).

I have other ideas, but not sure whether you are just looking at recolouring what's already there, or if you are able to delete existing units, create brand new ones, or change items of uniform. (Changing a baret to a tricorne, for example). Hope you like my suggestions!

Hey Gardiner, thanks for the suggestions. I looked at the Kronoskaf page to see exactly what you meant, and I could do it. Furthermore, I'm thinking about just recolouring what's already there, but after that I might be inclined to make new units.

Edit: I will be making the Narke-Varmlands infantry, too. What did you think of the proposed Swedish line infantry?
I'll send you an email later; work is pretty busy, but I'm pretty excited about the continued work on the AD mod.

If you mean, do I like what you've done with the Generic Swedish Line Infantry in version 2, then yes, I love it!
If and when you decide to create new units, I have loads more ideas. (Based off of Kronoskaf also - except for Savoy and United Provinces where I have other sources) Not just uniforms, but which models to use.
I can also think of a few units that probably ought to be deleted to make room for better ones and/or so that some rosters don't become too bloated. (France)
I'm also in favour of replacing the helmeted dragoon model with the more accurate 'Caribineer' model. For all factions. I notice Sacrebleu! did that for England in the 7YW and Jacobite DLC's.

Hi francentre, have you considered modifying it with the Spanish unit models from Roar (Regiments of American Revolution)? I checked and their models are more detailed. Especially Tricorne, the Cockade is not a texture, but a real model

Hey, chinaco, I have not considered that because I don't want to change the style and aesthetic of the original Absolutum Dominium mod. Furthermore, the periods from each mod are different: AD focuses on the 7 Years' War, while Roar focuses on the American War for Independence. Therefore, the uniforms would be anachronistic.
