[[UPDATE]]: The floor texture at the start in the house was missing because the texture file was for some reason broken. This is now fixed. I changed it to a different texture and the floor should now not be invisible anymore!! A weird, short and simple Custom Story, filled with random dumb references. sup. for some reason the floor is missing for me in the first room, dont know what else could be missing as i don't want to carry on with a broken map. are there any extensions you used to make this map? thanks
UPDATE: I updated the custom story file now. If you re-download it,
the first floor texture in the house should now be visible!
I don't know why that is happening.
because the texture is in the files.
try opening the first map in the amnesia level editor.
its the file named "yard"
you can try and see if the texture is assigned there when looking at the properties of the floor, under the "primitive" tab, where it says material. if not you could try assigning it. the texture that should be assigned to that floor is "m64wood" in the planes folder.
I have no idea why that's happening for some people. and for some it's fine.
Gave me "It's hurting my eyes" vibes.
