The Great Beasts of Mordor by Jannis! See more here: Artstation.com

In game you will see them pulling Grond and working as an elephant unit carrying ranged troops for Mordor.

Do you think a fully functional Mûmak will be possible?

I think it is definitely feasible to some degree. We likely won't reach movie sizes(as they are absolutely ridiculously big on Pelennor Fields), but we'll try something quite big nonetheless. The question is how prominent the main problems will be without access to the engine, and how easily we can hide them.

Looks great! Other than mumakil, will there be any other beasts a similar size to this?

No, at the moment Mumakil and Great Beasts are the only planned mounts of this size.

oh man this looks glorious! Any chance we will be able to hunt these in the wild so we can "tame" them? Or other animals to hunt for food maybe? Loving the details and work you guys are putting in, i'm more excited for this mod than for the game itself xD

Hey just a quick question on this: with the engine released, will Mumakil and Great Beasts still be possible? This model is so cool and it'd be a shame if it couldn't be used somehow.

We think yes, if/when we get it working the way we want, we will share that.
