Smaller map - it is something I like. It was really annoying when it took weeks just to pass the Narrow Sea, not to mention going from Wall to Dorne ;)

That's game. If they make everything 'lorefriendly', the game would be unplayable...

Smaller map? Gods no, it should be a long journey from Dorne to the wall..

I just love a loooooog journey between Winterfell and the Twins in Robb Stark's party, only to realize he starts to get homesick by the time he's 3/4 of the way there, and turns back. Mount and Blade has certain limitations that need to be considered before lore in some cases.

you'd rather not do that, doing such a thing requires a lot of painful modding

I like the mod. But there is a big problem i have with it. It's lack of troop tree diversity and the fact that warriors are forced into becoming cav repelled me from playing the game. Is there anyway that you can add another elite unit inplace of the cav. Or let us chose between the last version of the sword infantry and cav for all the factions?
