New Map for Sirmium! image - 457 AD: Last Years of the Western Empire mod for Mount & Blade: Warband

This is our new map for the city of Sirmium, in Pannonia, modern day northern Serbia. During the mid 5th century, the city of Sirmium was under the power of the Goths and in our game it is also the capital city of the Amals, the future Ostrogoths.

The city, after the 5th century will pass through the hands of several barbarian tribes and for a while it will also play a crucial role inside the Kingdom of the Gepids. In the second half of the 6th century, as the outcome of the wars against the Ostrogoths and the slavic incursions, Sirmium will fall back under imperial rule untill it was completely destroyed by the Avars at the end of the century.
