Burgh Castle Helmet image - 457 AD: Last Years of the Western Empire mod for Mount & Blade: Warband

Solid reconstruction of a late roman helmet, a find out of the former Roman fort Gariannonum, today Burgh Castle Norfolk, England, in the year 1960 AD. It's a late roman ridge helmet type, a very common helmet typology during the 4th and part of the 5th century. The skull is composed by four metal parts, linked between each other by the central ridge and by two lateral riveted bands. This variant of the Burgh Castle helmet doesn’t have ear holes, making it more similar to the Deurne and Concesti types.
