Your eyes slowly adjust to the gloom but immediately start to sting. Dust and plaster has fallen down from the ceiling, and you taste it in your dry mouth. Slowly the ceiling lights flicker on as the emergency generator starts up, and people begin to pick themselves up... ...Its August 9th. You've just survived the biggest killer of man in history. In 30 minutes, 3.6 billion people have died across the globe. Unknown to you, the population of the UK has quartered, and will continue to drop. You think briefly of your family before being dragged onto your feet by your platoon sergeant... "Come on son, there's work to be done!" Comes the gruff voice from the dark... but not yet... for now we wait... in the dark...
this weapon was used effectively by australians during the vietnam war. great firing rate and nice accuracy as well.
Bad recoil though, it's very hard to aim in full auto and also weighs a hell of a lot more compared to other assault rifles. But it's a beautiful rifle, and saw a load of use in the Falklands and Vietnam.
This version doesnt have full auto, the British L1A1 SLR was made to imperial measurements and had the full automatic function removed.
To be honest with you, any weapon this sort of size not supported with a bipod is hard to fire on automatic.
liked for its stopping power mainly
the FN FAL was, is, and will continue to be the world's sexiest battle rifle
NATO's AK47 here boys.
Makes me proud to be a westerner.
