A mod that focuses in the years 1812-1815. Historically accurate costumes and weapons, as well as town names. You have the opportunity to choose to serve a nation (Great Britain, France, Holland or Prussia) or even found your own nation and conquest the Great Forces of that time!
The mod includes formations of the time (e.g. ranks, wedge), historical figures, revised companions and a whole new experience in combat. Also, the native troop trees are completely changed. You will be able to recruit French and English Grendiers and Prussian Hussars. Moreover, mercenaries have been replaced with troops of the Napoleonic era, for a complete sense of historical accuracy and for a proper gameplay experience.
Now, you need to keep in mind that this is a Work in Progress and we know that some problems do exist (but really nothing that affects gameplay, in any way). More features are to come and many additions and corrections will be made.
The installation instructions are really simple. Just extract the .zip file in your Mount and Blade Warband\Modules directory and select it frop the "modules" option from the launcher.
Enjoy!
There are six viable factions at the moment including the British, the French and the Prussians. It is hoped to increase the number of factions shortly to include more European nations of this era. This is a long term project to create a small Napoleonic world that will include civilian models, new period settlements with authentic architecture and buildings in towns and villages. It will include formations and volley fire, new quests and multiple factions, plus at some point a multi player element. It is based on the end of Napoleon's rule in Germany and the eventual overthrow of Napoleonic domination in central Europe and will culminate in the 100 days campaign. This is a work in progress, so do not be very harsh.
