You obviously spend too much time inside to actually go outside and look around. Flats and offive buildings are square, as for the houses, my house is compeltly flat on one side, with a square garage, and the roof is just a slight ramp, it looks like its made of just 3 square. Now what else could you be commenting on? The flat water?
You sir need to actually look at the picture, then look outside and relise that allot in the world is actually made of blocks.
Now on to the textures. The only repeating textures are the tiles... which do repeat, and the roof tiles, in which if all the buildings are made by the same company, in the UK i have "RedRow", not only do they build square buildings, but they are all the same and symetrical.

What can I say I do my best to please everyone, but obviously that will never happen, due to the fact everyone (I hope) has a prefference in what is apealing to them in a game, or map or whatever it is, that is different from person to person. If this is "allright" then so be it. I'm not going to defend my work, because at this point I couldn't be more pleased with the skills I have as a mapper. It took me alot of effort to get to this point, and I believe I can deliver a certain quality that is in a way different then most other maps I see in games but still good enough. I would also like to point out that not only do I do the maps, but I have to concentrate on gameplay aspects aswll as telling a story through dialogs that I write myself. I do want to get this project done in this lifetime, so some sacrifices will be made.
mapping this would take ages,my house is sqaure so what who cares if you have "blocks" everywhere what a lot of people are complaining about.

I remember.And i instanly forgot.This version is perfect!I especially like the trees they are very well made.Top work as always!
