I don't think this game having no mod support will affect me so much that I would have to pirate it or not buy it at all. But having to always be online to play the game really ****** me off. What about long car rides, playing at someone elses house without internet, etc etc. I guess piracy a harmless thing to do at first glance has got ourselves as gamers in a deeper hole.

At least Torchlight 2 is coming I'll be buying that. I'll think about Diablo 3.

After reading The Road I always wanted a way to experience something quite like it. In real life or in a game to just survive. The games out now usually have nonstop action, yet I've poured hundreds of hours in gaming and there has only been one that has catered to what I've always been wanting and Minecraft has done that. Just the concept of survival but with this entirely different concept and defintely a lot more serious (also leaning towards something story driven) I think it can be extremely succesful if it takes some ideas from that game and twist it to cater to the atmosphere. So take bits from Minecraft, Stalker, and Bioshock is another that comes to mind especially in terms of atmosphere.

Great work and even though I have minimal experience in these things, if theres any way I can help make this mod the most polished mod it can be I'll help when asked. Good luck you've got yourself a nice canvas I'm eager to see whats next.
