If you change the file to read only, it will stop the game from overwriting the changes

You need to unpack the downloaded .zip file. The discks it's referring to are the three other files that come with the installer
More love for Harad is always welcome
"guess it's more haradic than Rhunnic though, do you plan to retexture for rhun?"
Possibly. At the very least I'm planning to add variants for the cloths and instead of red, possibly blue/golden roofs for the easterlings
yes, although it will serve as the throne room in my version
Sorry for the late reply, haven't checked moddb for a while.
Sure, just link me the mod and list of things that you'd like to be adjusted and I'll get to work
One can only hope.
But I will make some edits for Reforged version and Conflicts of Eriador + Heirs of Elendil mods are interested in it, as well as some guys in DaC (although I think it will be the most unlikely one)
edit: forgot to mention SIlmarillion Total War
THe simple answer is that my goal was to get every faction in and to make it as crash free as possible. The intent was never for this version to make any sense (like renaming Gondor's leader and heir to king and prince but still leaving Denethor, Faramir and Boromir in).
Rest assured that now that we have a properly working map (and actual team) we are starting to fix the bigger things (adding new strat models, missing sounds etc) and after that/while at it start adjusting the faction for specific timelines
To sum it up current campaign is just a two mans effor to get it to actually launch
you have unpack the downloaded zip file. Make sure that the tree .bin files are in the same folder as the exe
Dol Amroth is it's own faction mainly to represent their principality and an effort to keep Gondor roster reasonable
Rhudaur was in house of men as of the Arnorian kingdoms they had the largest population of lesser men (and so that I'd have four icons in both houses of men and descendants of numenor)
Yeah, they all are the same file. Just on different links
Moddb didn't let me to upload the files directly to the moddb for some reason so I uploaded download links instead.
you need to set the settlement level and culture on the map selection to play sieges
the file in moddb has the read me and download links to the mod. Moddb didn't let me upload the file directly to the moddb so instead I uploaded download links
Going to medieval2/mods/Third_Age_Reforged/data/settlements and deleting the unique_settlements folder fixes this.
It will also be fixed in the hotfix but until then this is the solution
not yet, but we are almost finished with all the changes.
There aren't any such scripts in reforged as it is, but in the future we plan on adding those features
We managed to find the isssue behind the campaign crashes (by now some testers have reached turn 450 without crashes) so expect playable campaign when the hotfix releases.
here's the link to our discord. Just ask help there and you should receive help

Yes, it indeed changes depending on the faction selected. Although currently there's only one for good and one for evil factions
it's more like a tabletop game run on discord server and the battles are played on the mod
It pretty much comes down to different needs from our settlements. Simple and open layouts with mainly only one way to assault them suit DaCs needs as their mod is mainly played against AI. Meanwhile Reforged is almost completly played in pvp so similar layouts wouldn't be interesting to play nor to watch
Now that you mention it, guess I should do that
