When trying to install this mod with MO2 i encounter an issue with compressing the folder into a zip file in order ot install the main gamedata and the hd models patch gamedata because i cannot compress a file containing the letters "OP" or something. Any help on this would be appreciated cuz this rework looks great

Im sure ive deleted the old version, the gun does work without the patch from the 24th, but its the old as val tactic from before the patch on the 24th

I did what you said and reinstalled the 26-Aug version and the patch from 29th Aug and the issue still persists. i even uninstalled any conflicting mods to use it vanilla and i still have the issue. When using the files you told me to use, the updated animation for the AS Val Tactic from the 24th aug patch is missing, and still uses the old animation. When installing that patch tho it adds the new in game model and animation but with the mag still not moving during the animation. Like i said i tested it with no conflicting mods just the way you said i should and the new and improved animations just are not there if i do not install the aug 24th patch, and with the patch the mag still does not move during the animation. If i can be any more specific please tell me as i would love for this gun to work again and what youre telling me to do seems to be conflicting with what is actually in the patch files. Please correct me if i am wrong, but after multiple tests the animations for the AS Val in the aug 24th patch are not included in the newest version of BaS released aug 26th, even though both you and the description say that all previous patches are included. It would give me a redundancy alert if everything in the patch was already included in the newest version and it does not. Thanks for any help again, i would love to see this resolved as i have a hard time ignoring my favorite weapon in the game.

If for some reason there is nothing you can do/think of, i was wondering if there is possibly a link to the BaS version from Aug 22nd, as when i used that version with the patch for the AS VAL on the 24th everything worked perfectly as intended with no issues, even tho i was using the older version. I really want to be able to use the as val tactic, and sadly no other version of it looks and sounds as cool as it lol

Im having an issue with theVAL tactic reload anim. I have the latest version and all of its updates installed and in order, but when i reload theval tactic the mag does not move. The animation was fine after theval tactic model and reload animation update, but after installing the newest BaS from a few days after the reload animation is now broken. I would love to see it working again because i use it on every character i play pretty much.

I did some more testing and noticed that every other vanilla/Bas Val/VSS reload animations are just fine and it is only the BaS AS VAL Tactic that has the issue. I also did some re reading of the description and it states that in the most recent update Aug 26th all previous patches were included. However that doesnt seem to be the case as the aug 24th patch that changes theVal/VSS animations is still required to have those updated models and animations. Only one BaS patch is being read as redundant and thats the May 13th patch, I hope this helps in solving the issue with the reload animation bug and please any help is appreciated.

I think the most recent BaS update broke this mod, i could be wrong but thats what it conflicts with even with the specfic BaS version of this mod installed. It causes a crash upon launch with this mod installed, it used to work perfectly like 6 months ago when i first installed the 2 together. Thank you very much for your work on this mod man, I would love to see it get updated if you had a chance

Just wanted to mention that the sound of the SKS Tactical being fired is much louder than any other gun in the game that I have heard, I actually quite like how loud it is, but thats cuz overall i think the gunshots should be louder in anomaly, however this is noticeably louder to where i think it cant be intentional. The volume could be turned down a hair for someone like me, but others may find it way too loud, great work on this mod man its a must have

I just wanted to say that your work on this mod is extremely appreciated and if there is a way I could donate to you for your work I would like to know how, I am having conflictions with BaS causing many sights to be misaligned, specifically on AK's and Saigas, the NATO weapons are mostly fine but there are one are two picantty/weaver sights misaligned still. Thank you again and based on your last post no rush obviously, the fact that anyone is doing this at all is great haha

Im having an issue with some reticles on sights being misaligned or other sights be useless cuz when you ads you basically just stare at the back of your sight and not down it. Im using THAP and EFT Pos, any help would be greatly appreciated.

For note most of the messed up sights are on ak's and shotguns, some BaS ak's are fine like the AK PMC but the AK-74 BaS has every sight you can use on it misaligned

Thank you for the reply and sorry if I am just confused. Now that i think about it, it is weird that i installed that mod on the 25th, but a patch from the 24th fixed the AS VAL for me. So i see the description says you updated it and added gunslinger style animations with ALL PREVIOUS PATCHED INCLUDED. Should i delete my BaS from the 25th and all of the patches and jsut install the most recent main file to fix everything else?

I realized that there was a patch released the day i downloaded it and did not realize until now, it specfically fixes my issue. Not to mention i found a screenshot of the mod authors load order and emulated it best i could. Most of my issues with the off centered sights seem to be fixed. However, a good chunk of sights are still slightly off centered or fully off for the VSS "Savant"

I would also like to mention that after doing some more testing i discovered that a majority of the games sights are misaligned for all versions of the as val, as well as at least a few are misaligned for every gun. I posted a link to my load order already and any help would be appreciated. Love the mod but for some reason the sights either break the as val model while standing or the reticle is completely off centered

I got a FATAL ERROR when equipping the as val tactic from BaS. I have had no other issues so far besides some sights not lining up with the reticle. I am using the most recent verison of anomaly and BaS, i just made a fresh install the other day with MO2. Here is the text after my last fatal error log,

Hi, I love the mod but I am having a unique issue with it. I manually installed it following your instructions to put Groks reflections folder first, followed by your mod. I also added the texture HUD fix for Mora's body health after that. I loaded into my game afterwards that was about 20 hours in, the Nosorog armor I wore worked perfectly with the mod as I loaded it in. I played for a while without realizing any issues, until I noticed that trying to put on any other headgear in the game causes a ctd for me. I have more mods installed as well but nothing crazy, I was hoping you could possible help with this problem as i do not see anyone else having it on here
