From one side the technology`s improvement could give a chosen elite soldier the necessary visor / hud with some thermal or other type sensor. Yet the price would be incredible and very few could afford it.
From another side the game engine, mechanics and other limitations would bring such advantages in "cheating" cathegory with ease.
So in the end I`m inclined to agree with you, Sir Bmblbx176. Harder gameplay is better than cheating any day.

The visiual image quality of the Zone came right after the A.I. so both the new texture pack and the new vegetables are more than welcome. Changing the settings from Medium to High (without Volumetrics settings and DX10 options). It does makes difference and I`ll keept this settings for now a short while with DX11.
I didn`t said that nerfing a gun is a bad thing. The beauty of its design is much more important than making it "overkill" type. I suppose that the stats are much more easy to change than the weapon`s image.
An interesting phisical effect I found by accident: I shot at this piece of metal and I thought that the bullet left marks on the front and on the back panels as if it pierce the two sheets of metal Imgur.com
I tried again shooting on the right side and bullet marks really appears on both metal sheets. Imgur.com

Here is a copy of my save with Walter sniper rifle with Lapua Magnum bullets. Drive.google.com
Shooting with 5.56x45 regular ammo does have some slight impact, maybe 1 of 10 bullets shows sign of piercing, AP rounds a bit more noticeable and the biggest .338 rounds gave most noticeable effect on this piece of metal.
Although Walter rifle is nerfed compare with ver. 5 and is no longer equal of M82 Barrett and is actually even weaker than SVD I found the design quite attractive.
Thank you kindly, dear Sir. Both zombie versions works just fine. Using the original script folder also works, but this rising zombies are too good not to be used.
Another large texture pack beyond the one you alredy implemented in ver. 6? My, oh my, this must be my lucky day indeed! The Zone will definitely become not only more dangerous, but also more beautiful! Thank you so very much!
With xr_motivator script my game crashes every time, either with new game or loading previous save without it. After removing the script my game still CTD every time. Re-install is required.
Since Sir Bmblbx176 began his test with DX10 I`ll play with DX11. If you continue to work only with one of them, Sir Bamah, please tell me, so I can test the right one.
Initial observations of ver. 5 of Sir Bamah`s gun mod:
The implementation of the anomaly`s movement is a great success. There were more than just a few times when my toon ran into an anomaly at places where I thought secure or already went there before an emission. Truly a top one trait for creating another random threat which can only increase the lenght of the gameplay.
The tougher zombies are another top tier novelty. With highest difficulty, hardcore AI aim and enhanced recoil ON they are no longer cheap source of loot but real threat. Hell, if the zombie playable character was able to use the disguise system to do quests for other factions I`d be playing zombie run just for their new durability (better than any armor so far).
Rising from the dead in another top rated feature in my list. It is random and the player can no longer be safe even when looting the corpses. Truly great and immersive idea and really well implemented.
With sanya and DoctorX co-operating with Sir Bamah in Gun Mod V ver. x64 it provides the best CoC experience ever, mainly due to the AI enhancements. Even for a veteran player the initial run from spawn point Dark Valley to Agroprom base went with numerous deaths despite the good weapon and plenty of ammunitions available.
The artefact drop rate from corpses is unusually high. I found too many suits in various conditions between red and yellow for too short time. The drop rate of 7.62x39 ammunition is too low (lol). The economy changes are welcome. The trick to put a few weapons in a corpse, save and reload to loot free ammo is no more.
Good hunting, Stalkers ... The mine surely is.
Unlike my expectations my game actually become more stable with DX11 than DX10 (DX10.1 option off and volumetrics off). Sun Rays mode: Screen Space, SSAO mode: HDAO (for AMD user) and at HIGH quality. But then my faithful AMD R9 270X 2GB GPU burn, this time beyond repair. Back to a crappy old 1 GB GPU is agonizing experience and already showed huge difference with crashes and all kind of problems compare with gameplay with 2 GB GPU.
A decent upgrade on my system will require another 10-14 days before I can provide any reliable test data.
Such beautiful custom-made weapon is much more valuable than the ugly mass produced cheap boom-sticks made to "provide firepower for unskilled and untrained troops". I sincerely hope to see more of your creations in the Zone.
Working electricity system? One sudden turn-off and a good size zombie horde will turn this idilic picture into a hell runaway.

New building. I`ve got good feelings about new and better loot already.
At least one new mutant. I can only hope that not all of them will be hostile.

So much time has passed since the beginning of the first Stalker game and one of the most important aspect of the game is all the same.
The .... miserable bandits, wearing nothing but jacket or long coat are better protected than fully upgraded Exo wearing soldier. Again and again the armor proves absolutely nothing in this game. The common pistols like Beretta can bring down the Exo users with several body shots.(!)
While if the PC wears any type of bandit armors is all the same wet paper made armor. But nothing, absolutely NOTHING can compare with the disappointment I felt once more from the Exoskeleton. 50+ kilos energy movable battle armor is still nothing but wet paper. Jacket dressed Loners and Bandits are the Zone`s walking nightmares while the Exo users, PC and NPCs both, are nothing but common mouses. Does the titan plates, ceramic layers of armor, fiber carbon parts, syntetic sapphire layers and who-knows-what more is THAT bad against small caliber ammo?
I`m a noob, all right. But with so many talented modders around and after all that time I want to ask very respectively: How is that thing possible?
With 2GB GPU the Chimera experience is entirely different than with only one. The gameplay is fairly solid, almost no stutter in Agroprom with 53 Army NPCs in the Agroprom base. The battles are tough and intensive, I even experienced 2 impossible encounters when another faction suddenly joined my enemies and they were way too many to fight or to run from.
No matter what improvements you will do, I only hope that you`ll post an installation guide for dummies, if copy /paste your database folder is no longer enough. And yes, the bigger database - the better.

Your Chimera AI is the best thing for me so far, Sir. With 2GB GPU the FPS doesn`t drop as much as with 1GB GPU with 20+ combatants. The enemies are able to attack from 2 or even 3 directions at the same time. Enemies and mutants acting together against the PC isn`t a rare sight either. 15 Bandits may receive backup before I`m able to loot them and then more and more as if from the whole map and so on.
It is good to have you back in the Zone, dear Sir.
