Wow. Was really liking the game, up until you had the still image of what I think was a low res zombie appear center screen and just scream at me. Up until that point everything was golden, things made sense and was very much from a child's perspective. I still like it and will keep playing, but that zombie really took away from the experience / immersion.

Windows Only, I love exclusives! I'm going to have to buy this one, especially since it looks so fun! Every game that releases without Linux or Mac support is one more victory for the empire and another step towards the new Golden Age of gaming. I fully support this companies decision to kick *** and support the one true operating system. Not the unethical, rotting Apple or the inbred son of Unix, but rather the clean, charity supporting and world saving Microsoft Corporation. Cheers to you thebignic! Keep up the great work. :D

Oh come on. There were some great FMV games back in the day. True there was also a giant pile of Wirehead, but the gems that existed were amazing.

Change your resolution to 1200 by 900, or anything higher than the default and they become VERY readable.

Thinking about getting this game, but I have to admit knowing that I can't die kind of takes away the fear from me. I loved the Penumbra series, Realm of the Haunting and a slew of other horror games, but as I discovered with Darkness Within 2: Dark Lineage, while a cool plot awesome settings and good voice acting can take you far once you're playing 4 hours in and realize you can't really be harmed, by anything, the "fear factor" peters out. (Still beat DW2 btw, I'm just saying I wasn't really "scared", though it was a good game).

It's the lamps... You go up to them and hit Enter (it's the key they, through some kind of madness, assigned as the use key). It's pretty badly designed in this regard, no hints, nothing to suggest it could be moved. Only a tiny number suggesting the sequence in which the player has to turn the lamps.
